- SCHEDULE -

Online schedule for June 7 to July 3, 2021

 

PRE-RECORDED OPTION AVAILABLE: If you can not make the live weekly classes,  there is a Pre- Recorded class option available. Let Stephen know you are interested. The cost is $60 for for 4 weeks and unlimited viewing for 7 days. 

 

Friday and Saturay participants:

There will be no live classes Friday June 18 and Saturday June 19. Stephen will be doing the last module in his Franklin Method training. Stephen will send out recorded classes to the Friday and Saturday participants.

 

Free class Friday July 2, 2021:

There are no classes Thursday July 1, Canada Day. There will be a free class offered on Friday July 2 at 9:30 a.m. in celebration of Canada day. All are welcome to attend. It will be taught as an All Levels class. If you are not registered for this session and would like to attend, let Stephen know and he will send you the Zoom link. If Friday is your regularly scheduled class then attend another class that week as your free class. Wear red & white for Canada Day.

 

In-studio privates will begin Monday July 5, 2021. Contact Stephen if you would like to book a session.

SMALL EQUIPMENT USED IN CLASSES:

  • Mat
  • 2 towels
  • Small Hand weights - 1 - 3 lbs.
  • Resistance Band - 5 -6 ft. long.
  • Foam Roller - 3 ft. long about 6 in. wide or a thick rolled up blanket. 
  • Foam Block or folded blanket to sit on.

 

-CLASS DESCRIPTIONS-

Gentle Beginnings:

Gentle Beginnings will consist of the 24 Pilates Fundamentals excercises plus some of the Standing Fundamentals. The focus will be on breathing, finding ease of movement, and stabilizing and mobilizing different parts of our body. Excercises can be modified to suit different abilities and props can be used to help give support where needed. The pacing will be slower than the other classes. Come ready to feel both awakened and calmed in your body. This class is beneficial for students at all levels. 

 

All Levels Class:

This class starts with the Pilates Fundamentals then adds more layers to the exercise for those who want to add another level of challenge.

 

Bone Fit (for all levels):

Classes are safe, effective, and use evidence-based exercises for folks with osteoporosis. Each class will include:

  • Modified Pilates Mat & Standing Exercises,
  • Resistance Band Exercises (medium resistance),
  • Weight Training (1-5lbs.) + body weight exercises,
  • Balance Exercises,
  • Postural Exercises and more...

Level 1(Solid Foundations): 

This beginner level class is a great place to start your Pilates practice. The focus is on proper form and body awareness to set you up for success. Other key components are improving posture, developing core strength and improving balance.

 

Level 1 & 2(Core & More):

In this class we continue to build on the solid foundation of the Level 1 work by adding exercise variations and more movement concepts to the repertoire. This creates challenge and a deeper understanding of the Pilates Method.

 

Level 2 (Go Deeper):  

An intermediate level class that combines Pilates Fundamentals, Mat & Standing Work and small equipment to create a total mind/body workout to help you go deeper.

 

Level 3(Power & Flow):  

This intermediate / advanced level class is for the experienced Pilates client who can maintain core control throughout complex movement sequences and is relatively free from injuries. Movements will flow from one sequence to the next creating both challenge and a deeper body/mind connection that will leave you feeling strengthened & renewed.

 

Private or Semi-Private Class

Create an exercise program that addresses your specific goals using the Pilates Equipment: Reformer, Wunda Chair and Springboard.All Private and semi- Private classes are held at Stephen's Home Studio at 112 wellington St. N, Kitchener.

Online Group Classes are 45 minutes. 

 

Cost:

1 pre-recorded class per week for 4 weeks = $60
1 class per week = $15 x 4 weeks = $60

2 classes per week = $28.50 x 4 weeks = $114

3 classes per week = $40.50 x 4 weeks = $162

Unlimited classes + recorded class for 4 weeks = $204

 

PRIVATES: (55 minute sessions)

Privates will be on Zoom only. 
1 Private.......................................$79
1 Semi-Private (2 participants).....$40 per person

1 30 minute private...................$42


MISSED PRIVATE SESSION: 24 hours notice is needed when canceling a private session otherwise the participant will be charged the full fee for the missed session.

  • email us at office@kwpilates.com and let us know what classes you would like to register for.
  • send your payment by e-transfer to office@kwpilates.com (no security question is necessary).
  • When payment is received a ZOOM LINK will be sent to you that you will use for the 4 weeks of classes. Please do not share the Zoom links or pre-recorded links with anyone.
